CIC Reference No. 106
Data Providers: Mitchell International, ADP Claims Solutions Group, Motor Information Services/CCC Information Systems
Original Time Allowance: 0.9
Original Labor Note:
None

Issue:
No Labor footnote. To remove the left side engine mount on the 4X4 model with a 4.0 V6, the Axle Housing must be removed to access the bolts

Response:
  • Motor/CCC–Responded with time study and added required time along with a labor foot note
  • ADP–Recognized the removal of axle housing for access and added labor note for the 4.0 V6.
  • Mitchell–Recognized the need to remove axle housing and added labor note.
Results/Change

  • Motor–Not only increased the labor allowance to 1.7 hours (including footnote stating "with axle housing removed) by discovered that on the 2X2 model, the right side mounts requires removing the spring. Hats off to Motor!
  • ADP–Added footnote for axle housing R&I time allowance
